Residential House in Ringelis Park Avenue
Architects:
Alvydas ŠeibokasAbout object:
The settlement Žaliasis Slėnis was began to form at the highway Klaipėda-Palanga in 2000. It was one of the first attempts in Lithuania to implement the principle of “a town within a town” developed already long ago in the West – the unanimously formed settlement made up of the neighbourhoods of different house types – cottages, private homes. Alvydas Šeibokas was one of the architects, who shaped the overall picture of the settlement.
This one-storey residential house distinguishes by its elegance of proportions and materials. Dark wood batten garage is separated by a narrow double-storey white stuccoed volume from the living space covered with reddish sandstone. Due to its stone finish the building looks luxurious, and its white two-storey inverted L-shaped penthouse converting into the premises equipped on the roof for a guest room create an impression of the southern architecture.
