About object:

The exceptional natural environment, such as expressive conformation, a water basin situated adjacent to the land plot – it is probably a most wonderful gift to an architect’s fantasy, especially, when designing an individual house. In creation of the building, the project authors invoked a literary idea: “…the first vital spark after the ice-age that started to break through the snowfields towards the sun melted and raised the ices around it by own warmth. There appeared more and more space, air and light. As during each spring…”

The building of two firmly bound volumes is standing as if it is struck into a slope, opening its “face” at full length to the nearby pond. Quite high white internal space of a living room separated from the pond just by a thin vitreous “line” that overflows to the skylights directs a sight to the view of a window in an opposite wall of the room. The boundaries between the exterior and the interior are maximally eliminated in the bedrooms and a hall situated before them as well. The architects avoided dark corridors in the house, and a staircase to the bedroom unit is the only space that could be named as a corridor. The scope of the authors to dematerialise the residential space and eliminate the boundaries between the surroundings of the house and its interior has been successfully implemented.
