Ivabaltė Centre for Agricultural Machinery Sales and Service is established on a spacious plot in Saviečių village, Kėdainiai district, near Via Baltica — one of Lithuania’s busiest traffic arteries. The modern-looking complex of buildings opened in 2012. The company promoting innovative and advanced technologies in the field of agriculture and expanding its activity in the middle of Lithuania, took up an ambitious project of building a modern and spacious specialised centre with opportunities to expand even further. The complex consists of two square buildings, situated near one another with some space in between. Although, the latter exists only on the exterior. The buildings are situated at the end of the rectangular plot, further from the highway. The rather static shape of the rectangular arrangement of the buildings is enlivened with different construction and finishing materials used for the exterior: one building is built of glass, while the other features concrete finishing. The eye-catching solution for the latter involves concrete mixed with a pale yellow pigment and façades decorated with round cavities. The agricultural machinery display and parking lot, paved in pale yellow blocks and decorated with a rhythmical arrangement of plants, is an inseparable part of the exterior. This Centre is the only of its kind in Lithuania, combining the major and rather specific function of agricultural machinery sale and service with another that is well-thought-of — the complex offers excellent conditions for various events. Meanwhile, the time-tested harmony of glass and concrete makes the complex of the buildings aesthetic and organic.
